I am learning that I don't need the understanding of others any longer. I'm finally getting the hang of take me as I am or not, I am who I am and who I am becoming and outside understanding isn't required.
I learned long ago that to try to comform to what people want you to be compromises your true self. However, I have also learned in recent months that there is a limit and you must stop for the moment a reflect upon things and think about the greater good and your place in the scheme of things.
Used to wonder; now I know.
